Captain Manuel J. (Manny) Arrebola was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He has over 25 years of law enforcement experience, and possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. He is also a graduate of the prestigious University of Louisville, Southern Police Institute Command Officers Development Course.

His previous assignments include: School Resource Officer at Campbell Drive Middle School, Miami Edison High School, and Coral Gables High School; Police Sergeant in both the School Resource Program and Patrol Services; and Police Captain over Patrol, Support and Specialized Services, and the Administrative Division.

Captain Arrebola is currently a certified instructor and holds specialties in firearms, defensive tactics, and defensive driving through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. He has been an adjunct instructor for the School of Justice at Miami-Dade College for the past 24 years. Aspiring police officers and current officers participate in mandatory and salary incentive training at the School of Justice, which serves as the police academy for various police departments in the tri-county area.
